What is freeze drying?

Freeze drying, also called lyophilization or cryodesiccation, is a method of low-temperature dehydration. It involves freezing the product to -100°F and removing the resulting ice crystals through sublimation.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes we sure do, If you have any specific request or interested in placing a custom order please contact us, and we will be more than willing to help.

What is the difference between freeze drying and dehydrating?

While both freeze drying and dehydration are methods of removing moisture from materials, freeze drying preserves the structure and nutrients of the material better, resulting in a higher quality end product suitable for applications where retaining original characteristics is important.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships you will receive an email with the tracking number.

How long does it take to freeze dry?

That all depends on the type of machine you use and how much moisture is in the food item. Some items can take over 48 hours while others are done in a little as 4-5 hours!

When will I receive my order?

Every item is made-to-order to maintain the freshness of the product. Processing time is currently around 3-5 business days (M-F), plus shipping time (which varies depending on the destination). You will receive an email with the tracking number once your order has been shipped!

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
